Here, have a poem from my childhood :)  Free of charge

The Cherries' Garden Gala

The Cherries' garden gala
was the finest seen in years,
the Pears arrived in couples,
and the Prunes all carried shears,
the Greens had splendid collars,
and the Peaches wore new shoes,
an Orange danced a hornpipe,
and a Berry sang the blues.

The Beets were playing bongos,
as the Lettuce marched ahead,
the Zucchini made a racket,
but the Ginger seemed well-bred,
the Dates appeared unsteady.
though the Currants stayed on course,
the Turnips whirled in circles,
and the Radishes grew hoarse.

The Beans could not stop coughing
as the Corn told awful jokes,
the Plums were bobbing gaily
with some hearty Artichokes,
a Cauliflower listened
as the Grapes began to whine,
and the Melons started bawling
just to see the Apple pine.

When the Garlic dropped a penny
and the mint produced a bill,
the Chard grew overheated,
and a Pepper caught a chill,
then the Rhubarb got to fighting,
and the Lemons seemed afraid,
but the Thyme could not help watching,
though the Mushrooms all sought aid.

The Onions dipped politely,
as the Leeks began to spring,
the Sage repeated maxims,
and the Carrots formed a ring,
a Tomato acted saucy
to a rather bossy Pea,
and the Potatoes wept with pleasure
at the Cherries' jubilee.

Accounting Quiz tomorrow!!!

So I has an accounting test tomorrow.  I just finished studying.  I doubt I'll get an A this time...somehow I always manage to make mistakes :(.

Well, wish me luck!  I'm going to go to bed now.  Not much happened today, cept I went for a 6 mile run.  I haven't done it in a while, so I am glad my knees are still able to!  It was pretty fun and I feel great!  Now for some nice sleeps.

sorry for the lazy post again!

mmmmm Chillliiiii

Made some Chili!  Anyways, it's been a busy couple of weeks, but I'm finally back at last!
I have class soon, so this will be a brief post.

If anyone is interested in making chili, here is a recipe I love:
1) get some meat, brown it in olive oil and cayenne
2) 3 cans of diced tomatoes (chili ready)
3) 3 cans of corn
4)3 cans of chili beans
5)1 can of kidney beans
6) add some salt, parsley flakes, and tarragon leaves to taste
7)1/4 a cup of chili powder
8) 1 large jalapeno, 2 habaneros, and 2 serrano chilis.

Basically just bring it to a slow boil, simmer it for as many hours as you want.  The great thing about chili is that you really can't mess it up.  I really prefer using a lean cut, like roast or stew cubes...it will become tender by the end of the process.  Chili keeps great as well, it's easy to make, and you can freeze it.  In actuality, I ALWAYS find chili to taste better after you freeze it then thaw it.  Don't ask me why.

Maybe the ice crystals puncture the cells and let the flavor really flow.  Idunno.  It tastes good.

Cheers!!!  I hope I didn't lose any of my faithful readers by being gone for so long :(

I almost died.

Here, have a comic since I was gone for so long.  It's on the house.
OK, so I didn't almost die.
But, I was sick for almost a week.  I got out of updating the blog cos I had a bad fever, horrible cough, achey body, and a bit of a stuffed nose.

Sorry for the delay!  Hopefully no one thought I died.  There's some sort of flu bug going around.  Be careful everyone.  Not much else is new, honestly.  Nothing for me to review.

However, I just finished watching the Darjeeling Limited again.  It was better than I remembered even.  I like all the actors in it, and its humor is pretty funny.  Have any of you seen it?

Another Saturday

Ugh I need a new phone...I've been stuck with this stupid at t go phone for the longest time.  I lost the back to it even so it's held on with tape...i was thinking of switching from AT&T, once I get a full time job.  But I digress.

Obligatory Image
Haha I really like that image.  I think it sums me up sort of.  I just wanna be a crocodile my whole life :-/ instead I'm stuck in debt from school, and can't get a job to save my life, living on the living room floor of an apartment.  Things could be worse, but they could be better.

Anyways  random quiz time.

[1] Name one thing you hate
[2] What's one random thing about you
[3] Favorite drink

GOGOGO

As for me, I hate macintosh and assholes, I'm left handed, and my favorite drink would have to be raspberry smirnoff.  Or beer.  Almost any beer.

 Have a cute comic
Anyways, I got to thinking about my future.  Shi's scary, man.  My gf asked me what I'd do after work each day, and that got me to thinking...

The hobbies I'll do in the future are:
1) Brew Beer
2) Cook dinner
3) Write my story (which I should be doing right now)
4) Prob. vid games, still
5) Blog to keep up with my friends (you guys) <33

Also, assuming I ever get a decent salary and can move into a house, I'd love to start a garden.  None of that pussy flowery shit, im talking chilis, tomatoes, herbs, pumpkins, stuff like that.

What sort of hobbies do you guys have?

Well,

Went to the dentist today.  Boring stuff.  On a good note, I have everything necessary but my transcripts for grad school (just picked up my letter of rec. today!!)  and I spoke with a grad student who helps people with admission, and said that my statement of purpose shouldn't matter, and that I have better scores than he did so I'm probably definitely going to get into SDSU.  Cool, huh????  Well, cool for me anyways.

Here, have a picture of Bradley Cooper

ZZZZZ

GAH!
Stayed up way too late again.  I have class at 8 :(
I'm still trying to figure out all the mozilla shortcuts...hopefully I wont go back to IE.  I think mozilla is faster, so i like it

anyways, i'm gong to go to bed, i'll post a read-worthy blog tomorrow after my dentist appointment

First Post

Hallo, old friends from Xanga! (And new friends from blogspot!)

This is my new website.  Xanga sort of died for me, and I think blogspot is more mainstream.  I'll update more stuff later, but for now, I need your help.  It's something I've been working on since about last night.

I'm about to post my statement of purpose, which I'll send to several graduate programs.  Please read it, and let me know what you think.  I've never done this, so I especially would like help from anyone already in grad school.  I am above the average GMAT and GPA for SDSU's program, but I still want to really hit it home with my statement of purpose.  Without further adieu:
